Summary: Two street clowns were arrested for satirizing the king. In order to survive, they need to make the king laugh.
*There are two kings in Joseon history that their names end with -gun. This -gun means that they were the kings, but they got dethroned by the government officials and became sinners and demoted back to prince status.
This is a fictional movie, but this king Yeonsan-gun was a crazy tyrant who enjoyed women, drink, and entertainment.

The King's palace guard led by military commander is also King's lover. Since the King can't sleep with women, he asked his lover to take his place instead.
